APPLICATION: Benidipine is mostly use as anti hypertensive agent. It also used in the Angina pectoris. The tablet is given when the chest pain occurs.
HOW TO USE: Benidipine tablet taken orally with food. It is given 2-4mg daily.
When chest pain occurs take 4mg 2 times per day.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not take Benidipine medicine in pregnancy and lactation period. Take your doctors advice before taking medicine.
PHARMACOKINETICS: Benidipine is rapidly absorbed after oral administration reach Inga maximum concentration within 2 hours. Benidipine completely metabolize in liver. Excretion is done by faces; most of the drug is excreted by bile.
SIDE EFFECTS: Benidipine have side effects like hypersensitivity (rash, itching), sometimes musculoskeletal effects like redness, stiffing in shoulders are also shown. Benidipine also give effects on heart like chest pain, hot flushes.
There are also some minor side effects are also there like nausea, vomiting, headache, insomnia, constipation. If it goes worse take advice to your doctor.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have liver problems kindly avoid taking the medicine. Benidipine cause slurred vision and drowsiness so kindly avoids driving, operating machinery and performing any hazardous activity. Biperiden cause drowsiness so kindly avoid alcohol when taken medicine.
