CONTRAINDICATIONSOF TORSEMIDE: If you have high amount oftriglyceride in the blood kindly avoid taking Torsemide. Do not take Torsemideif you have an acid-base imbalance of the blood or decreased blood volume. Kindlyavoid Torsemide if you have hardening of the liver, hearing loss and highamount of uric acid in the blood.

PHARMACOKINETICSOF TORSEMIDE: Torsemide is rapidlyand fairly absorbed independentof the heart failure state. Half-life of Torsemide in normal patient is 3.5hours. Both hepaticmetabolism circulations are cleared by Torsemide. Peak plasma concentration of Torsemide was 10.1g/ml. In a normalpatient, about 20% is excreted through urine and 80% is excreted by bothhepatic metabolic systems. 

SIDE EFFECTS OFTORSEMIDE:  Many people usingthis medication do not have serious side effects. Other common side effect ofTorsemide is Dizziness or headache. In rare cases there is a signs of kidney problemlike change in the amount of urine. In the very rare case signs of allergicreaction like rash andswelling are seen in patient.
