HOW TO USE: Follow all directions on yourprescription label or as your doctor recommends you. Take Cilostazol two timesper day on an empty stomach. HOW CILOSTAZOL WORKS: Cilostazol and Cilostazol metabolites are one type ofposphodiesterase III inhibitors (PDA III inhibitors). Cilostazol inhibits activity of posphodiesterase andalso quash cAMP degradation so by that cAMP increased in Blood vessels andplatelets and by this activity the platelet degradation inhibits and also bloodclotting reduced by the activity.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not take Cilostazol medication if youhave any heart problems like Congestive heart failure. Take your doctor’s adviceif you are pregnant or in lactation phase. Cilostazol can harma nursing baby so do not take medication if you are breastfeeding a baby. Donot share your medication with other person. Take your doctor’s recommendation ifany adverse reactions appear while taking the treatment of Cilostazol.

PHARMACOKINETICS: Absorption of Cilostazol in gastrointestinal system is slow orincomplete.  Cilostazol is absorbed after the oral administration.A high fat meal can increase the absorption of Cilostazol. Thehalf-life of the Cilostazol is between 11-13hours. The Cilostazol excreted almost74-76% by urination and the remaining medicine 23-27% eliminate by the faceslike sweating or by skin.

SIDE EFFECTS OF CILOSTAZOL: Thecommon side effects of Cilostazol are headache, upsetbowel movements, runny nose, normal rash, dizziness. There are some major sideeffects are also cause by the Cilostazol likedifficulty in breathing, chest pain, swelling of (face, tongue, fingers, andthroat).
